Happy New Year

A new year is before us, and with it come the hopes and expectations of bigger and better things. We close the basketball season and open Girl’s Volleyball. Mr. Andrews and his staff of assistant coaches have begun preparing our girls for their upcoming competitions. A schedule of games will be made available as soon as the scheduling of all games are confirmed.

Also, we now turn our attention to our annual Science Fair. Students in grades K thru 3 will conduct “classroom” projects. The classroom teacher will plan the project, and all students will participate in the completion. Students in grades 4 thru 12 will prepare “individual” projects. These projects will be graded, and entered into group competitions, and will be made available for viewing at the annual Science Fair Open House, Friday, February 27, at 7:00 p.m. Awards will be presented at this open house.

Lastly, in an effort to reduce the operating expenses of the school, we have merged the church and school offices. Parents should report to the front office (located in the church foyer) for all school related business. This change increases the workload on both the church and school staff; therefore, in the event things take a bit longer to resolve, please be patient.

As always, my door is open to you all. Please do not hesitate to come to me with any questions or concerns you may have. I value the trust and support you give to our school, and anything that concerns you concerns me also.
